Dr. Kang's mother suffered from high blood pressure and stroke when he was a teenager. That was when he realized how much suffering vascular disease can cause a family and was one of the reasons he decided to become a doctor to help other people fight vascular disease. He feels that he has had many mentors throughout his training. Each one of those individuals helped influence him with their modesty, patient care and pursuit for perfection in their operative technique. He enters each day with the hopes to be able to help someone. Dr. Kang has a special interest in amputation prevention. In his free me, he enjoys boating, fishing and being outdoors.I treat my patients the same way that I would like my family to be treated. I give them all the information up front and work with them to make an informed decision in their care. I combine both the traditional open surgical technique and modern endovascular advancement to provide the best care possible for my patients.
