Virginia L. Barrett, MD, is board certified in internal medicine. Dr. Barrett earned her medical degree at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at Long Beach Veterans Administration Medical Center. Prior to joining HealthCare Partners, Dr. Barrett practiced internal medicine at Connecticut Health Plan for 12 years, where she was chief of the department of medicine. She also held the position of assistant clinical professor of medicine at Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. Barrett is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
