Dr. Velocci chose a career in medicine so that he would be able to help people with their medical problems and work with them to improve their quality of life. Gastroenterology, in particular, covers a wide variety of medical issues and procedures, all of which he finds interesting.Dr. Velocci credits his parents as the biggest influence in his life. Their love and support have allowed him to achieve everything he set out to accomplish, both in his career and in his personal life.Dr. Velocci enjoys coaching and volunteering with his church. In his free time, he enjoys travel, good movies and most of all, spending quality time with his family.My approach to medicine is based on treating each patient like the individual they are and tailoring their care to their specific needs. I hope to help my patients by listening to them and working with them to develop a plan of care.
