Vesna Kaluza, MD was born in Sarajevo and moved to the United States as an exchange student in 1992. She received her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Arizona and subsequently attended medical school at the University of California, San Diego where she received her medical degree. Following completion of residency training in Internal Medicine at Indiana University, Dr. Kaluza did her Hematology/Oncology Fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles. Her research interest has been in lymphoma including work in the field of Epstein Barr virus associated lymphoproliferative disorders. During the fellowship she was awarded an Amgen grant for research. Dr. Kaluza has presented her work in the form of abstract and poster at the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) as well as American Society of Hematology (ASH).
