Brief Intro

Raised in Oklahoma in a family of physicians, medicine was a natural interest and career choice for me. I attended the University of Oklahoma for one year then graduated from Westminster College and went on to Tulane University Medical School in New Orleans where I graduated with my Doctorate in Medicine. I was accepted at the University of Iowa, completing a one-year internship, two years of general surgery, and three years of Otolaryngology head and neck surgery. I obtained my Otolaryngology Board Certification. I fulfilled my two-year military obligation as a Major in the Army at Ft. Riley, Kansas, where I was appointed Chief of Otolaryngology, head and neck surgery at Irwin Army Hospital. I moved to Boise, Idaho where I have practiced medicine since 1969.
