Dr. Raman received her medical degree from University of Mumbai, in Mumbai, India. She completed her residency in Pediatrics at the Michigan State University Bronson Children’s Hospital and her fellowship in Pediatric Endocrinology at the Baylor College of Medicine Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, Texas. She is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Utah School of Medicine. Dr. Raman is board certified in Pediatrics and in the subspecialty of Pediatric Endocrinology. During her fellowship at Baylor, she established the Pediatric Lipid Clinic at Texas Children’s Hospital brought expertise in lipid disorders in children to the University of Utah in 2009. She is the local primary investigator for a multi-center Type 1 diabetes Exchange Study for the Jaeb Center for Health Research.
