The only fellowship-trained breast surgeon in the region, Dr. Staradub is the Medical Director of Danbury Hospital's Breast Care Program. Prior to coming to Danbury Hospital, Dr. Staradub was on the faculty of Harvard Medical School and was on staff at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. She completed her fellowship at the Lynn Sage Comprehensive Breast Center at Northwestern University.
Dr. Staradub, whose practice is entirely dedicated to breast surgery, treats patients with both benign and malignant diseases, utilizing the latest tools and techniques including:
* Minimally invasive and image-guided procedures; including core needle biopsies and fine needle aspiration
* Sentinel lymph node biopsy
* Mastectomy (including skin-sparing techniques)
