I was drawn to work at the Regional Cancer Center because of it is unique cross between an academic and community based practice. There is a strong emphasis on research and the practice of cutting edge medicine. However, this is not done at the expense of patient care, as serving the community is always the number one priority. This dual focus on the best possible healthcare is how I strive to practice medicine.
