I was fortunate enough to know my career path in high school. I completed my undergraduate work at Villanova University, medical school at Vanderbilt University, and residency in a combined program at UC San Francisco and Naval Hospital/Naval Regional Medical Center in Oakland. I have three children and three grandchildren who keep me quite busy.
