Dr. Pitre is a diplomat of the American Urological Society, past president of the Oregon Urological society, past president of Legacy Good Samaritan Hospital and serves on the clinical faculty of Oregon Health Science University. Dr. Pitre is a graduate of Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois and received his M.D. cum laude from the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center. His internship and residency training in Urology were served at the Oregon Health Science University in Portland. Dr Pitre is a senior member of the American Urological Society, American Medical Association, and their comparable regional and local organizations. He is the recipient of an award from the Coalition of Volunteer Clinics for work with the medically indigent in Portland, Oregon and apart from Urology has a special interest in bioethics
