Dr. Arik grew up in Kentucky, attended college at Dartmouth in New Hampshire, and returned to Louisville for his medical school. He moved to Phoenix, where he completed all of his medical and cardiology training followed by a ten year practice. Dr. Arik was also on the Cardiology faculty at Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix, and established outreach Cardiology Clinics throughout Arizona. He was the first Cardiologist in the Lake Havasu area and helped open the Cath Lab at Havasu Regional Hospital. He has two daughters who are developing their careers in law and business. He enjoys traveling in the U.S. and abroad, playing classical and jazz piano, and studying music, history and philosophy.
