Syed Ali As a hospitalist, Syed Ali, MD, devotes his practice to the care of hospitalized patients who have been referred from community primary care doctors, emergency room doctors or other physicians at the hospital. Because he works at the hospital full-time, he is able to see patients and their family members as often as needed and adjust plans of care as conditions change.
