Dr. Steven Novotny chose family practice because of the many different types of people from children to senior citizens. Dr. Novotny is up-to-date with the latest treatments and therapies from pediatrics to geriatrics and all ages in between. His approach to medicine is to treat the entire person. His goal is to obtain optimal health for all of his patients and he works towards this goal through early detection and treatment of disease. This is based on preventing the disease from occurring in the first place. He feels that he cannot, however, do this task alone. It requires team work between the patient and physician. He works with you to maximize your health and well being. He and his wife moved here from the Chicago area. They both enjoy camping, fishing, and sailing. Family and activities with their families are both things they cherish.
