Brief Intro

Dr. Bounds received his Bachelor of Science degree from Arizona State University in 1988. Â After working in business and finance for several years he went back to school at Creighton University School of Dentistry, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1996. Â While in dental school Dr. Bounds conducted research comparing the performance of several dental adhesives and published his results in the American Journal of Dentistry. Â He then went on to complete a three year residency in Periodontics at The Ohio State University, where he earned his Certificate of Specialization in Periodontics. Â While at The Ohio State University he was a clinical instructor to the dental students and was involved in biochemistry research. Â His research earned him a Master of Science degree in 1999, and was published in the journal Antimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy in 2000. After completing his training at The Ohio State University, Dr. Bounds joined the practice of Dr. Todd E. Miller in 1999. Â Dr. Bounds is well trained in all aspects of periodontal therapy, including dental implants, periodontal plastic surgery and IV conscious sedation. Â He has completed continuing education courses in advanced immediate implant placement, microsurgery and ridge augmentation procedures.
