Steven Abramowitz, MD, is a board-certified vascular surgeon at MedStar Heart & Vascular Institute and a member of the Society for Vascular Surgery. As a vascular surgeon, he specializes in the treatment of aortic disease including aneurysms and dissection, venous occlusive disease, carotid artery disease, and peripheral arterial disease including critical limb ischemia and claudication through the use of endovascular and open surgical techniques. His clinical interests include central venous occlusive disease, aortic aneurysmal disease, vascular access for hemodialysis, peripheral vascular disease, and limb salvage.
