STEVE DECHTER, DO is a native of the Tri-Cities and received his undergraduate degree from Eastern Washington University. He attended graduate school at Cornell University and went on to study medicine at Western University of Health Sciences where he graduated with honors. He completed his residency training at Case Western Reserve University in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation where he served as Chief Resident and received specialized training at the Cleveland Clinic. He went on to complete his fellowship training in Interventional Pain Management at UCLA where he trained at the UCLA Spine Center as well as the Greater Los Angeles VA Medical Center. He is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and board eligible in Pain Medicine. His special interests in medicine include the multidisciplinary management of musculoskeletal joint and spine pain as well as regenerative medicine. Dr. Dechter is married to his high school sweetheart who is also a native of the Tri-Cities area, and enjoys spending time with his family, camping, fishing, and snowboarding.
