Dr. Phillips is a native of Florence, Alabama. He attended both the University of Alabama for his undergraduate studies. He graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine. He completed his residency at the Spartanburg Regional Medical Center in Spartanburg South Carolina. He and his wife, Toni, have a daughter, Reagan. His interests include his family (especially his little girl), Underwood Baptist Church, University of Alabama Athletics, hunting and shooting, fishing and gardening.
