Dr. Hopkins is an Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in elbow/shoulder, knee and general orthopedics. Dr. Hopkins is a 1971 graduate of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. He interned at University of New Mexico Affiliated Hospitals in Albuquerque before going into overseas medical service with the United States Army. Dr. Hopkins' residency was at Letterman Army Medical Center at Presidio of San Francisco; and included a year of children's orthopedics at Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children in St. Louis. He has specialized training in sports medicine, arthroscopic surgery and surgery of the knee. Dr. Hopkins is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
