Brief Intro

Dr. Boes grew up in Jackson, Mississippi where she received her M.D. from the University of Mississippi Medical School in 1995. She completed her pediatric residency at Childrens Hospital of Austin and was Chief Resident during her last year there. She was Board Certified in Pediatrics in 1998, and holds a Fellowship in the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Boes has also worked as an Attending Physician in the Department of General Pediatrics at Childrens Hospital of Austin and city health clinics. Her job included a mixture of direct patient care, teaching medical students and teacjomg residents. Before joining Pediatric Associates of Austin, she worked locum tenens for a variety of local pediatricians, as well as working in the ER at Childrens Hospital of Austin. Dr. Boes has a particular interest in colicky, fussy babies. She teaches a baby care class at St. Davids and does annual AISD physicals through the TMA. Dr. Boes and her husband, Barry, have three sons, Clark, Caleb and Collin. She enjoys singing in her church choir, cheering at her boys' baseball and tennis games, reviewing her boys' action/fantasy novels and pulling her husband on a wakeboard if the temperature is above eighty degrees.
