Dr. Scott H. Leaf
Dr. Scott H. Leaf, in private practice since 1983, provides dental care to children from infancy through adolescence, as well as those with special needs. A graduate of Georgetown University's School of Dentistry, Dr. Leaf completed his pediatric dental residency at Children's National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. He is currently affiliated with the Hospital and treats private patients requiring general anesthesia. Dr. Leaf has been named as a Top Pediatric Dentist by Washingtonian Magazine.
Dr. Leaf is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, the Northern Virginia Dental Society, and was a Virginia representative to the American Society of Children’s Dentistry.
When not treating patients, Dr. Leaf enjoys traveling, swimming and has a passion for all things equestrian. He is a harness racer and as an amateur driver has competed since 1991. His victories include wins at the prestigious track in Mikkeli, Finland, and he was the first American to win a trotting race in Estonia. He continues to be active in racing; and is an owner, breeder and collector of equestrian art. Dr. Leaf is active in the community and local schools, visiting classrooms to educate students on proper dental hygiene. Dr. Leaf also sponsors area youth sports teams.
