My family opened a small nursing home when I was a young girl. Through regular interaction with patients and their ambulatory ailments, I gained a great appreciation for biomechanics and the impact that mobility has on physical and mental health. While years of teaching and studying the sciences contributed, it was ultimately my experiences in elder, traumatic injury, and terminally ill care that led me to explore podiatric medicine. I chose to practice at Riverview Health because of my admiration for the doctors and administration and their focus on providing excellent patient care. In my free time, I enjoy teaching, singing, photography, outdoor activities and spending time with my family.
