Dr. Gabbara is a board certified pediatrician you can trust to deliver experienced, comprehensive, family-centered and compassionate care to your children. Dr. Gabbara believes that an ongoing relationship with a pediatrician whom you trust is one of the most important gifts you can provide your child. His special interests include behavioral pediatrics, adolescent medicine and caring for children with special needs.
Dr. Gabbara received his medical education from St. George’s University School of Medicine in 2000. He completed an internship in Pediatrics at Henry Ford Hospital and a residency in Pediatrics at Children’s Hospital of Michigan in 2003. Dr. Gabbara also has a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Wayne State University. He conducted research in infectious diseases, bacteriology and molecular biology at Wayne State University, the University of Michigan and the Children’s Hospital of Michigan. His work has been published in many journals and presented in many national and international conferences.
Dr. Gabbara is involved in teaching medical students from Michigan State University and residents at Botsford Hospital, thus bringing the most recent advances and up-to-date level of care in pediatrics and adolescent medicine to his practice. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
