A board-certified physician with nearly 20 years of experience, Dr. Freid serves as chief of the Emergency Medicine Department at Anna Jaques Hospital. One focus of his practice is the diagnosis and mangement of concussions, which was the focus of a symposium he led in Newburyport in 2011. Dr. Freid received his medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine, and performed his post-graduate work at Darnall Army Community Hospital in Fort Hood, TX.
