Rodney Armand, MD, FACOG, is an obstetrician and gynecologist at Women’s Health Associates in Bossier City. He provides minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgery options to help women manage their gynecologic health.
Pregnancy and childbirth are special times in a woman’s life when Dr. Armand takes time to listen closely to his patients’ concerns. He assists women who have high-risk and low-risk pregnancies.
He graduated from Centenary College with a degree in physics before his commission with the U.S. Navy where he trained in nuclear power and was a submarine officer. He returned home to attend LSUHSC-Shreveport School of Medicine for his medical degree. Dr. Armand completed residency training at Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland. He then served as head of the OB-GYN department at both Naval Hospital Beaufort and Naval Hospital Pensacola. He is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
When not seeing patients, Dr. Armand enjoys traveling with his children and all things related to LSU sports.
