Brief Intro

Dr. Tarrago was born in Mexico City, Mexico and moved to California when he was six years old. He graduated from Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo University with a degree in biochemistry. He completed medical school and pediatric residency at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and then completed his pediatric critical care fellowship at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. He is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in pediatric critical care and joined Children's Respiratory and Critical Care Specialists as a pediatric intensivist in 2004. his clinical duties, he is also the Chief Medical Information Officer at Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota where his special interests include quality, safety and outcomes work. Dr, Tarrago is married to Dr. Sonja Tarrago, a general pediatrician. They live in Woodbury with their two sons, Braden and Ian. Dr. Tarrago enjoys road biking and gourmet cooking.
