Robyn Borghese, MD, is a Board-Certified Neonatologist practicing in Idaho Falls, Idaho. She is a pediatrician with many additional years of subspecialty training in the care of newborns, and specializes in the advanced treatment of fragile infants and preemies at EIRMC's Level IIIb NICU. Dr. Borghese is a member of the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Borghese has created a series of informational videos for parents wanting to understand more about neonatology. In her first video, Borghese discusses EIRMC's capabilities to help newborns and premature babies breath when they can't do it on their own. In her second video, Borghese helps parents prepare for having a baby in the NICU and shares the best way they can participate in their babys care. Borghese encourages women to deliver their babies in a tertiary hospital- a hospital with a full complement of specialized physicians, staff and equipment- because when unexpected circumstances arise, babies often need help quickly. Dr. Borghese earned her Fellowship at University of California Davis Medical Center, completed Residency at St. John Hospital & Medical Center, and attended Medical School at American University of the Caribbean.
