I have explored many sides of the medical field after starting my career as a pharmacist, transitioning to family medicine and now practicing emergency medicine. No matter the specialty, serving patients has always been what I am most passionate about.
The characteristics patients seem to appreciate most in my care are humor, practicality, compassion and experience. I approach each visit by listening to the patient’s symptoms and concerns and then weigh those with the exam findings and results of related studies. This process leads to a working diagnosis and a collaborative effort in developing a treatment plan.
