Dr. Ortiz-Aguayo has spent the last decade as a director on staff at two of the most prestigious child and adolescent psychiatric hospitals in the country (Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh). Dr. Ortiz-Aguayo joined Complete Mind Care of PA in 2022, so to build and implement a program that includes multi-levels of treatment for children, adolescences, and young adults ages 18-25. Dr. Ortiz- Aguayo is seeing patients in addition to operating as Chief Medical Officer.

Dr. Ortiz-Aguayo graduated from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine, research track. He then completed a Triple Board Residency Training Program (Pediatrics/General Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry) at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic of UPMC/Presbyterian Shadyside and Children).
