Dr. Smith graduated from the University of Minnesota Medical School and completed his residency at the University of Minnesota. Prior to joining Midwest Ear, Nose & Throat Specialists in 1992, he served as an assistant professor at the University of Minnesota Medical School. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and the American College of Surgeons. His special areas of interest are diseases of the ear and head and neck surgical oncology.
