Dr. Grissom received his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University and his medical degree from Tulane University in New Orleans. In 1975 he was elected Alpha Omega Alpha. He completed his surgical residency at Mt. Sinai in New York and his urology residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Dr. Grissom began his private practice in Lubbock, Texas and in 1984 moved it to Baton Rouge. He is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of many professional organizations including East Baton Rouge Parish Society, LA State Medical Society, the American Medical Association, the American Urological Association and the American Association of Clinical Urologists.
