Dr. Robert Klecz specializes in orthopedic and stroke rehabilitation, as well as treatment of musculoskeletal disorders, spasticity management, and electromyography. He received his medical degree from the Medical Academy of Warsaw, Poland and completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, receiving several awards for his academic work. He is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation. Dr. Klecz joined Kessler Institute in 1995 as an attending physiatrist and currently serves as Clinical Chief of Orthopedic Rehabilitation. , he focuses on the treatment of other musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. He is experienced in the use of Botox(r) for muscle spasitcity, as well as joint, bursa and other soft tissue injection techniques for treatment of pain. Actively involved in education and research on orthopedic and geriatric rehabilitation, therapeutic modalities and electrodiagnostic medicine, Dr. Klecz has published a number of articles and abstracts on quadriplegia, drug therapies and other rehabilitation topics. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (Fellow), the Association of Academic Physiatrists, and the Physiatric Association of Spine, Sports and Occupational Rehabilitation. Fluent in Polish, Dr. Klecz is actively involved in outreach to the Polish community.
