Dr. Axelrod received his undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences at Stanford University in 1995, and went on to obtain his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston in 1999. He completed his internship in psychiatry at Harbor-UCLA, and his Residency at UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute this past summer, where he held the position of Chief Resident of Adult Inpatient Services in his final year. Dr. Axelrod and his wife enjoy hiking, camping and backpacking.
