Brief Intro

I am in private practice and I have a broad background and training in general orthopedic surgery as well as specialized training, education and practice in arthroscopy, pediatrics, sports, upper extremity, trauma, fractures, and joint replacement. I am board certified in Orthopedic Sports Medicine and General Orthopedics by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons. My draw to orthopedics developed during medical school where I found satisfaction in the ability to provide intervention to relieve pain and suffering, and to change the course of a disease or injury, thereby allowing a return of function whether to work, play or restoring someone to a caregiver capacity. I implore a holistic approach to patient care that is a product of my medical training and upbringing that takes into account and treats the whole person from their physical orthopedic condition to their social, emotional and educational components, that each patient desires, while receiving effective orthopedic care. I have worked very hard to maintain excellence in various areas of practice and this has facilitated my ability to treat a large variety of conditions. My specific and current areas of practice include performing advanced outpatient minimally invasive arthroscopic procedures of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, knee and ankle. I also have a specialty focus on upper extremity conditions of the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand. I provide trauma and emergency room coverage for fractures and other orthopedic injuries to children, adolescents and adults.
