Photo of Dr. Robert Gaston, Junior Dr. Gaston, Jr. Started his Family practice with Donelson Medical Clinic and has served this community for over 30 years. He was a founding physician of Summit Primary Care when we opened in January 2000. He sees patients of all ages from newborns to geriatric. Dr. Gaston is a graduate of the University of Tennessee Medical School. He interned at the City of Memphis Hospital, where he also served as Chief Resident. He began practicing in the Donelson-Hermitage area in 1977. In addition, Dr. Gaston serves on the Advisory Board for Family Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Dr. Gaston, Jr. Was born in Lebanon and raised in the Donelson area. He lived in Old Hickory for many years and currently resides in Nashville with his wife, Jane. They have two married sons, Hugh and Jon, and 3 grandchildren to date.
