Dr. Vennerstrom has been on the Lake Region Healthcare Medical Staff since 1991. Born in Duluth, he lived in Ethiopia, Africa, from age 5 to 14. He graduated from high school in the Twin Cities, Wheaton College, Illinois, and the University of Minnesota Medical School. He completed his residency at Appleton Family Practice Residency in Appleton, Wisconsin, and was a medical missionary at the Baptist Hospital in Cameroon, West Africa. Dr. Vennerstrom is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. He and his wife, Ginger, have two sons.
