Dr. Rita Bhat Dr. Bhat is a graduate of University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. She completed a General Practice Residency at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN. Following that she worked as a contract dentist during the Persian Gulf War at Fort Bragg, NC. She began her solo practice in Davidson 1993 and moved to a larger office in Mooresville 1999. Dr. Bhat is a member of American Dental Association and Academy of Laser Dentistry. Dr. Bhat has served as President of Iredell County Dental Society and has recently joined an emerging women's dental association known as Dental Divas. She has also been involved with volunteering at Mooresville OutReach to serve the local population that are without access to dental care. She also has been recognized as among America's Top Dentists selected by Consumer Research Council since 2005.
