Brief Intro

I specialize in disorders of the spine, with a successful practice serving Western Massachusetts, and neighboring Northern CT, Southern Vermont and New Hampshire, as well as areas east of Albany. My main office is in Springfield, MA, and I also see patients in Greeenfield, MA. Surgery is performed at Mercy, Cooley & occasionally at Franklin hospitals. I have a wonderful office staff, and a very knowledgable Physician's Assistant who help me to provide patients with high quality, compassionate care that we mold to be timely and effective. We try and spend a great deal of time making sure patients understand their problems, and the various treatment options available to them. My training was excellent, teaching me foremost to diagnose thoroughly, treat conservatively, and offer surgery only when indicated. I am also a member of SPINE (Spine Institute of New England), which is a quality network of Western New England physicians offering comprehensive and coordinated care of Spine Disorders. I live with my wonderful wife and two beautiful kids, two Labrador Retrievers and a cat, just outside of Springfield. I was raised in Connecticut, and spent many a summer in southern NH, and many a winter skiing southern VT. We relax on the shore when we can. New England is a great place to live and practice, and we especially love western Mass.
