Brief Intro

Richard M. Lampe, M.D., board-certified Pediatrician is a Professor and Chairman of Pediatrics at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Dr. Lampe received his MD from Marquette School of Medicine and then entered the Army. He completed a Pediatric residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. He was the Chief of Pediatrics at Letterman Army Medical Center and Walter Reed Army Medical Center, before retiring as a Colonel. He has been Professor and Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, School of Medicine since 1992. He is the recipient of the Texas Tech President's Academic Achievement Award and numerous teaching awards.
