Dr. George is a graduate of the University of Texas and he received his medical degree from Southwestern Medical School in 1982. He completed his residency in neurosurgery at Baylor College, Houston in 1988. Dr. George is the recipient of numerous academic and medical appointments, holds membership in many professional and honorary societies, has authored articles and abstracts in several professional publications, and is a frequent lecturer in spine disorders and surgical repair. He is currently an Attending Neurosurgeon at University Medical Center and is on the clinical staff at Grace Medical Center and Covenant Medical Center. Dr. George is married with eight children.
