Dr. Perlman was board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery in 1971. Dr. Perlman received his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in 1963. He served his internship at the Columbia Division of Bellevue Hospital and his general and orthopedic surgery residencies at the Hospital for Joint Diseases in New York. He had a fellowship in Hand Surgery with Dr. Joseph Boyes in Los Angeles. Most recently, he has received a Masters degree in Public Health / Health Services Administration.
