Reshmi Udesh, MD received her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Government Vellore Medical College and Hospital (GVMCH) in Tamil Nadu, India. She completed her research fellowship at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pa., and her general surgery residency at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital – Washington Hospital Center in Washington D.C. Dr. Udesh is DaVinci-certified in robotic surgery and her areas of clinical interest include acute care surgery, minimally invasive hernia surgery, endoscopy, and colonoscopy. She is ATLS-certified for trauma. When she is not seeing patients, Dr. Udesh enjoys reading, hiking, or traveling, usually to secluded places.
