Brief Intro

Dr. Peart is a native of Yardley, PA, who received his M.D. degree from the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in Hershey. His residency in orthopedic surgery was served at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Peart subsequently completed a fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia. Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, Dr. Peart is also a member of the Pennsylvania Orthopedic Society, Philadelphia Hand Society and the University of Pennsylvania Hand Club. He has also received the Certificate of Added Qualification in Hand Surgery and is a member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. Dr. Peart participates in the Lancaster General Hospital's Residents' Training program and has been awarded teacher of the year. He previously served on the LGH board. Dr. Peart has special interest in shoulder, elbow, hand surgery, microsurgery and trauma.
