Dr. Godishala completed his undergraduate Pre-medical Education at New Science College in Hyderbad, India. He then attended Kakatiya Medical College (Osmania University) in Warangal, India where he obtained his medical degree (M.D.). His post doctoral training included one year of flexible Internship at Osmania General Hospital in India. He completed his residency training in Internal Medicine for three years and Fellowship in Cardiology at the Brooklyn Hospital located in Caledonia Hospital, affiliated with the State University of NY at Down State Medical Center. Dr. Godishala is a staff cardiologist at Auburn Memorial Hospital as well as the Director of the Coronary Care Unit and Non-Invasive Cardiovascular Laboratory.
