“Musculoskeletal joint pain can be debilitating and impacts our daily lives. As an orthopedic surgeon, my goal is to create a partnership with my patients—to hear their voice and genuinely understand their orthopedic goals so I can help restore their quality of life in a way that is dictated by them and not their pain.”
Raheel A. Ali, MD is a board-eligible, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon at Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital.
As an orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Ali specializes in hip and knee joint reconstruction, complex hip and knee revision surgery and partial knee replacement surgery. He provides high-quality, specialized orthopedic care using advanced surgical techniques, such as robotics and navigation, and nonsurgical modalities to help patients achieve the lifestyle they desire.
Dr. Ali earned his medical degree and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He completed fellowship training in Adult Joint Reconstruction at Anderson Orthopedic Research Institute in Alexandria, Virginia.
“The day you meet an orthopedic surgeon is often a difficult time,” said Ali. “You’re usually in pain, or have been dealing with orthopedic discomfort for some time. What inspires me is knowing that although patients are coming to me during a difficult and painful time, I have the unique opportunity to improve their situation and help restore their quality of life.”
Dr. Ali is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons and the AO Trauma Foundation.
