Dr. Dendi completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the SUNY Health Science Center at Syracuse in New York. He has also completed three fellowships. The first was a Clinical Neurocardiology Fellowship at the NIH in Bethesda, MD the second in Cardiology at the University of Iowa, and the third in Cardiac Electrophysiology at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Dendi is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with a sub-board in Cardiovascular Diseases. He joined the physician staff at KU Hospital in July 2008, He has received a number of scholarship and research awards, including the Dr. Lyle and Mabel Baker award for excellence in research during his cardiology fellowship, an NIH National Research Service Award, and the Parke-Dais outstanding medical student scholarship.
