Brief Intro

Peter Crecelius, MD began working at Medical Park Associates (prior to its becoming CVHC) in 1986 after working for the Indian Health Service in Lapwai for two years. He received his medical degree from Indiana University in 1981 and completed both his internship and his residency in Family Practice through Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana in 1987. Dr. Crecelius began his employment at CVHC seeing patients in the clinic, but now staffs our Emergency Room three weekends per month. He also staffs the Pioneer Medical Clinic two days a month. He is active with the Clearwater Back Country Medical Rescue Team. His work interests include sports medicine, wilderness medicine and working with patients of all ages. His hobbies include coaching soccer, mountain climbing, cave exploring and other outdoor sports.
