Dr. Penny Taylor After receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree from East Tennessee State University, Dr. Penny Taylor attended the University of Alabama – Birmingham, where she earned her D.M.D., M.S. and certificate in orthodontics. In practice for 10 years, Dr. Taylor enjoys giving presentations at schools and lecturing at study clubs in her spare time. A board-eligible orthodontist, Dr. Taylor stays abreast of the latest advances in orthodontics with memberships in the Eighth District Dental Society, American Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontists. When she’s away from the office, she coaches girls’ softball and enjoys motocross racing. She teaches second and third grade Sunday school and is a supporter of local schools and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
