Dr. Carniol is a Clinical Professor at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. He has been repeatedly selected as one of the Top Physicians in the New York Metropolitan Region by Castle Connolly Medical Ltd., and as one of the Top Plastic Surgeons in the United States by the Center for Consumer Services in Washington D.C.Dr. Carniol has lectured at numerous medical meetings across the United States and internationally, on subjects related to the latest devices and procedures in Plastic Surgery. His lecture topics include the latest laser procedures for treatment of wrinkles, brown spots, facial rejuvenation, and facial spider veins, as well as fillers for liquid facelifts, fuller lips, and skin tightening procedures.He believes that a real sense of art and beauty, as well as full understanding of the underlying anatomy and function, are essential to performing facial rejuvenation procedures.As an active member of our community, Dr. Carniol believes in community service. Included in this service he volunteers on the Board of The New Jersey Parkinsons Disease Association and the regional cable television station: HTTV. He also serves as a member of the New Providence Emergency Response Team which works through the OEM (Office of Emergency Management). In the recent past, we have had three significant storms affect New Jersey, including the infamous hurricane Sandy. Each time he has been involved as a member of the emergency response team.
