Brief Intro

Dr. Orest G. Komarnyckyj has been practicing dental implant placement and periodontology in central Phoenix since 1985 and has been a valley resident since 1960.  He is a graduate of Brophy Preparatory Academy, the University of Arizona, the Indiana University School of Dentistry and completed his residency in Periodontics at the University of Southern California. Educating patients about the importance of oral health and the relationship between oral health and general well being is of primary concern to Dr. Komarnyckyj.   He frequently lectures on dental implant therapy and the relationship between periodontal disease and heart disease, diabetes and pre-term low birth-weight babies. As president of Dental Implants & Periodontology of Arizona, Dr. Komarnyckyj draws on his expertise to provide the optimal treatment for long-term dental health.  While focusing on exceptional patient care and comfort, he and his staff take the time to provide the tools and knowledge for patients to be successful on their journey to a confident smile.
