Brief Intro

Dr. Henry Ajibowo was born in Lagos State, Nigeria. As a child, Henry's parents instilled in him respect for human life and dignity, as well as the value of sound education. He attended St. Gregory's college and then received his medical school training at the University of Ibadan, a University College Hospital located in Nigeria. After graduating from the University, Henry completed his internship at the General Hospital in Lagos and subsequently completed a one-year government volunteer program. After working another five months in Nigeria, he came to America in 2001. Dr. Ajibowo completed his USMLE exams, received his ECFMG certificate and was accepted into Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center where he completed his residency in internal medicine. He worked there prior to beginning his fellowship study in interventional pain/spine management at Georgia Pain Physicians. He completed his fellowship in August of 2009.
